After the passing of both my parents, I found myself the inheritor of volumes of family photos. The first step was to pick out the best ones from the thousands that I discovered in their storage room. Secondly, was the digitizing of all of these images. VADA Color in Traverse City spent an entire winter on this effort; bringing these aging photos back to life. From there, I have started the process to organize, label, compile and present images in a meaningful way for our family. I’m still uncovering layers of family history. This will undoubtedly be a life-long project. Here goes……
